General

The HB Group respects your personal information and undertakes to comply with applicable UK Data Protection legislation. Any personal details which you provide to us (or which are available on public registers) from which we can identify you are held in accordance with our Data Protection Registration Notification. When you place an order on the HB Group website, we consider the information you input as private. The information is kept on a secure server protected from outside parties. We use the information only for the following purposes:

• for statistical purposes to improve the HB Group website and its services to you;
• to administer the HB Group Website; and
• to notify you of HB Group products or special offers that may be of interest to you.

You agree that you do not object to us contacting you for any of the above purposes whether by telephone, email or in writing and you confirm that you do not and will not consider any of the above as being a breach of any of your rights under the Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999. In the event that you do not wish to receive promotional emails from us, please email our Customer Service Representatives notifying us that you no longer wish to receive promotional details from us. Messages should be addressed to hb@hbpublications.com with the subject "Remove Me From Your List" on the email you send confirming the registered details to be removed.

You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your User Information and/or information concerning your activities whilst using the HB Group website we shall do so.

We aim to keep our records as current as possible and you may change or update our records at any time by emailing our customer support address, or making the change through the account system on the HB Group website. You have a right to request a copy of any information we hold on you for which we will charge a small fee, and to correct any inaccuracies.

Indemnity

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of the HB Group website, or the use by any other person accessing the HB Group website using your user details.

Our rights

We reserve the right to: modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the HB Group website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the HB Group website; and/or change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the HB Group website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the HB Group website.

You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for the privacy practices or the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, products or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on such external sites or resources.
