HB Publications and Training International is expert at developing financial skills for the public and non-profit sectors. Our services are delivered worldwide through books and e-books; online assessments; self-development materials; online courses; and finance training.

HB Publications and Training International is the new trading name incorporating HB Consulting and HB Publications, both companies founded by Chartered Accountants, Lascelles Hussey and Jennifer Bean.

HB Publications produced a series of books and Ebooks called Essential Skills for the Public Sector, which comprises many finance and management topics. Many thousands of books have been purchased in the UK and internationally. In particular titles such as, “Managing the Devolved Budget” are extremely popular. All our titles have been released as 2nd editions in paperback and e-book format available from all main retailers.

HB Consulting delivered training and consultancy services to hundreds of clients in the private and public sector. For over 25 years, the consultancy has been in demand for its training services in the areas of budgeting, business planning and finance for non-financial managers. We have worked with numerous public sector organisations, including local and regional authorities, health, housing, and many other not for profit organisations. HB Consulting has delivered training to thousands of managers and staff with excellent feedback, such as “enjoyable”, which is how we wish our training to be perceived.

With the growing demand for flexible online solutions to training and development, the Directors developed an innovative online system to assess competencies, along with online courses.

We are members of CPD allowing us to award CPD points and certificates for many of our courses and content.

The Directors continue to be innovative and creative in expanding the range of products and services available and accessible to individuals and organisations worldwide.
